Terms of Service

1. Your account

You create a KIKIN account with Apple, Google or an email address and password. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account.

• Provide accurate registration information and keep your sign-in details secure.
• One person, one account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
• Tell us straight away if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

2. Age and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use KIKIN. KIKIN is not intended for children. We remove accounts we believe belong to under-18s and may ask for age verification.

3. User responsibilities

You agree to follow these terms and the Community Guidelines everywhere on KIKIN, and to use good judgement when meeting people online.

• Never share passwords, payment details, your home address or other sensitive personal information.
• Do not record, screenshot or redistribute other people's video, audio or private messages without their consent.
• Do not use bots, scripts, scraping or automated matching.

4. Random video matching, one-to-one and squad chat

Matching connects you with other members in real time using your camera and microphone with your permission. Matches are unpredictable by nature: you can end a match at any time, and you can report or block anyone.

• Camera and microphone can be switched off at any point during a match.
• Suspended accounts and community-banned members are prevented from entering the relevant matching pools.
• Squad chat connects several members at once; the same rules apply to everyone in the squad.

5. Communities and community moderators

VIP members may create communities. Community Owners may appoint Moderators to help manage their community.

• Owners and Moderators may remove posts, remove members, apply 24-hour, 3-day or permanent community bans, lift bans early and pause a member's community matching.
• Community moderation applies to that community only. Moderators cannot delete KIKIN accounts, apply platform-wide bans, change anyone's VIP membership or view private account information.
• Serious reports can be escalated to KIKIN Admin, who decide any account-wide action.
• KIKIN may remove a community or its branding when the rules are broken.

6. User-generated content

You are responsible for everything you upload or send: photos, videos, clips, GIFs, memes, voice notes, polls, comments, messages, usernames, profile pictures, community icons and community banners.

• You keep ownership of your content. You grant KIKIN a licence to host, store, display and transmit it so the service can operate.
• You must have the right to share what you upload and must not infringe anyone else's rights.
• Content that breaks the Community Guidelines may be removed without notice.

7. Messaging, friends and calling

You can add friends, message them and call them by video. Blocking removes the connection and prevents further contact. Do not use messaging for spam, solicitation or harassment.

8. Games

KIKIN games are provided for entertainment during matches. Results, scores and any in-game rewards have no monetary value and may be changed or withdrawn.

9. VIP membership and billing

VIP is a recurring paid subscription that unlocks features such as gender and country filters, Hot Topics and creating communities.

• Price, currency and billing frequency are shown before you confirm payment.
• The subscription renews automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from VIP settings; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• If a payment fails, a short grace period may apply before VIP features are withdrawn.

10. Virtual coins, gifts and refunds

Coins and virtual gifts are a limited, non-transferable licence to use digital items inside KIKIN. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

• Purchases of digital items are generally final once the item has been delivered or used.
• Where you are a consumer in the UK or EU, your statutory cancellation and refund rights are unaffected.
• Unused items may be lost if your account is permanently removed for a rules breach.

11. Reporting, moderation and enforcement

Anyone can report an account, a match, a message or a community post. Reports create a safety case for KIKIN.

• Depending on severity and history, we may remove content, restrict matching, suspend an account temporarily or ban it permanently.
• Serious safety violations — including sexual content involving minors, grooming, threats of violence or illegal activity — can result in immediate permanent removal.
• You may appeal an enforcement decision from your account. We review appeals and tell you the outcome.

12. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Legal & Safety → Delete Account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is inactive for a long period, or where required by law.

13. Intellectual property

The KIKIN name, logo, mascot, design and software belong to KIKIN. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or reuse them without permission.

14. Prohibited behaviour

Nudity, pornography, sexual solicitation, sexual content involving minors, grooming, hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, violence, promotion of self-harm, illegal activity, scams, spam, impersonation and attempts to break or abuse the service are prohibited.

15. Limitation of liability

KIKIN is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, for the conduct of other users, or for interruptions to the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

16. Changes to the service and to these terms

We may add, change or withdraw features, and we may update these terms. Where a change is material we will notify you and may ask you to acknowledge the new version before continuing to use KIKIN.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
